Along with being more relaxed, feeling calmer in the mind and more at peace and having more capacity to deal with life. These are all important to enjoying life and can really help the elderly.
Urban chi instructors are hard to find and may be expensive so what I would recommend is to buy a DVD. The results you will see are amazing. My grandparents used these DVDs and loved them.
