bunny free animal template

Here’s our page with several very versatile animal template ideas. These are great if you feel you’re just not skilled at drawing, or if you need something new to add to your collection. We’ll explain how they can be used for a variety of seasons, and how you can also simplify them, if needed.

You can use these for a variety of projects (including crafts for the elderly), whether you’re doing flyers, posters, cards, painting, coloring, or adding into a design you’ve already got going. Use these animals alone, or put them together (they can be re-sized on your computer to make them larger or smaller).

Be sure to also check out our other template pages for other nature designs that can be added in to create a more complete scene — see our leaf template page, and flower templates.

Almost every animal template is versatile and can be used with different seasons. For instance, if you’re doing a design for winter, the bunny can be used with a snow scene such as a snowy branch or tree, or a snowman. Likewise, the bird could be perched on a snowy branch.

Both the cat (make it black) and the raven are perfect to use at Halloween with perhaps a pumpkin nearby, or full moon in the background. Even the frog can be used in fall. On the other hand, they could be used for spring and summer as well. I’m sure you get the idea. So see what you can do with the templates below. Just Copy or Save them onto your computer.

You will see that the drawing style is loose and casual, which is often easier for elderly to work with, since the lines don’t have to be so careful and “perfect.” But feel free to trace them with a smoother line if you wish. You can even just outline the basic outer edges and make a silhouette.

Flower templates and designs come in really handy…

Do you like to do art or craft projects? If drawing is not your strength, or if you just need some new ideas for your arts and crafts for seniors and elderly, we have some flower designs here.

About using these templates –
Here are some guidelines for using our templates and patterns…

The flower templates here are copyrighted, but may be used for any of your personal projects. They can be used in the size provided, or simply enlarge or reduce them on your copy machine.

Some designs are simpler, some a little fancier. But with any of them, you can always use parts of the designs – just the flower and a few leaves, for instance. You can simplify them as much as you’d like, depending on your use in your crafts for the elderly. Or you can add in even more details.

Also try combining two or more of the different types of flower templates together to create a sort of bouquet or arrangement effect. Another option is having a set of flowers placed vertically, while another is placed horizontally, overlapping together across the bottom.

Additionally, you can try the mirror image technique, with the same flowers side by side, but facing in opposite directions. They can be transferred onto most surfaces by using carbon paper or transfer paper. And see our Leaf Template page too — you can add in more designs from there.

These flower templates can be used for many different purposes
including greeting cards, invitations, posters, flyers, paintings, painting in and then using with decoupage projects, painting on wood, making placemats (with clear contact paper), coloring pages, faux stained glass projects, painting on glass, glass etching, or even patterns for needlework and embroidery.

You can also use the simpler parts of the designs to trace onto colored paper and cut out, just drawing in any line detail, by hand. Any time you need a flower design for your crafts for seniors, there are many possibilities for these. It’s easy to make modifications for crafts for elderly who need simpler designs.

You can share these drawings with others — Feel free to give your friends and contacts the link to this flower templates page too!

to Easy Craft Ideas

Our leaf template ideas are ideal for so many arts and crafts projects. Use them for your crafts for seniors, many elderly activities in which you’d like a design to copy, and many other projects — all year round.

After all, leaves are one of the most obvious elements of nature that show the change in seasons. So with projects, leaf designs are really easily to modify and be flexible with.

These leaf designs are copyrighted, but you can feel free to use any of them for your personal or group projects.

Think in terms of the season you are using them for, then simply change the colors. Use fall colors for autumn themes. Add a frosty look around the edges of leaves for winter. Greens are great in summer, of course. And spring greens for spring. You can repeat the patterns down the side of a page for a border effect. Or repeat them all over a page. You could use the mirror image technique, putting two of the patterns side by side, but facing in opposite directions.

Also try combining these leaf designs with some of our flower templates for a different type of arrangement. Or add in birds or butterflies. If you want to get fancier, use them as the “foreground” in front of another scene that’s behind, in the background. Like a landscape, forest scene, seascape, or field or farm scene. Feel free to use the leaf template patterns in segments too. You don’t have to use the whole thing. Maybe a part of a branch, or just a leaf or two, or a leaf and an acorn, etc.

Many of these leaf template ideas can instantly have an interesting texture of pattern to it. Trace them onto patterned fabric, wallpaper, wrapping paper, even magazine pictures. For instance, you can take a maple leaf pattern, and trace it onto a magazine picture that is full of orange colors, like a fall leaf scene, pumpkins, or orange flowers. You will get a nice orange color to your leaf, plus a unique pattern within the shape as well.

These leaf template and designs can be used with woodworking, painting on wood, glass etching, faux stained glass, quilting, collages, greeting cards, posters and flyers, mobile projects, embroidery and needlework, and paintings. All you have to do is stretch your imagination!
