Stained Glass Paint

by Shirley
(Canada)

This is so simple with beautiful results. The "paint" is white corn syrup with food colouring. It works best when applied to a flat surface you can lay down, or it will run until it sets (dries). Can be applied to glass or a white mat board.

Draw the design on with felt pen or use black electrician's tape. Fill in the areas with the coloured syrup. Do not placed finished work in the sun as the heat will soften the syrup and it will run. The best part is you don't have to wash your paint brush between colours -- just suck it clean.
